Measurable Improvement for Infants

NutraIso® has been scientifically demonstrated to positively impact infant growth through breastfeeding. In clinical trials, integrating NutraIso into nursing mothers’ diets during the exclusive breastfeeding period improved all five WHO infant growth indicators for their breastfed infants. These indicators included weight, body mass index, and head circumference measures, all critical indicators of infant growth and development.

From six weeks to six months old, infants whose lactating mothers’ diets were supplemented with NutraIso while nursing showed:

  • 202% increase in BMI, raising them from the 20th to the 62nd percentile
  • 292% increase in weight-for-age, raising them from the 5th to the 21st percentile
  • 56% improvement in the key indicator for brain growth and development, raising head circumference size from the 9th to the 15th percentile.

Among nursing mothers, iron deficiency anemia was reduced by 50%, from a 22% incidence to a prevalence of 11% at the end of the study. Mothers participating in the NutraIso study also reported a significant increase in milk production.

In 2013, the company was awarded Patents for Humanity from the USPTO and U.S. Department of Commerce in recognition of the impact of NutraIso in the mitigation of chronic malnutrition in lactating mothers and their breastfed infants.

What does bioavailable mean?

Bioavailability relates to the capacity of a nutrient to be absorbed into the gastrointestinal system and bloodstream, making the nutrient more bioactive (efficacious) in the human body for the health and wellbeing of the recipient. The NutraIso® patented extraction process “pre-digests” the phytonutrients in the germ and bran layers of rice so the human body can absorb and utilize the maximum amount of its bioavailable nutrients.

What does enzymatic hydrolyzation mean?

Hydrolyzation involves using specific enzymes to cleave a substance into smaller component parts. The more enhanced the enzyme hydrolyzation, the greater the bioavailability of the proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and micro/macro nutrients are for absorption in the human digestive system.

What is a phytonutrient?

A phytonutrient is a natural compound derived from plants that provides documented beneficial qualities for human health.
